Silver Falls State Park

I spent 4 days at Silver Falls State Park

camping with Roger & Jan.

There was a noisy Steller's Jay in the trees by our tent.

I thought a bear might come out of the brush.

We never saw one, although one night we did have a raccoon visit.

Monday Roger & Jan hiked to South Falls

South Falls

I hiked to the bathroom

Tuesday Roger hiked to 6 more falls
and Jan went on a History Tour

Double Falls

I hiked to the bathroom.

Wednesday Roger hiked to the last 3 falls
and
Jan walked the trail around the outside of the campground.

North Falls

I hiked to the bathroom.

Yes, we all did a lot of hiking.


But the great grandkids came twice
and what could be better than that???
